KSOM, Bhubaneswar records strong placements for MBA batch of 2012-14

Adding to that, quite a few KSOM, Bhubaneswar students opted out of the placement process to follow their entrepreneurial dreams or go back to lead their family businesses. One of the major highlights of the placement season for Class 2014 at KSOM, Bhubaneswar is that leading global institutions in the public and private sectors had a strong presence on campus. Some of the big names included HDFC, HCL Infosystems, Deloitte, AXIS Bank, Tata Consultancy Services, Mahindra, Colgate Palmolive, Pantaloon and many more from industries ranging from healthcare to emerging technologies. Overall, 74 recruiters visited the campus and they left impressed by the students’ willingness to work hard and stay focussed.

The most promising news for MBA aspirants and currents students is that KSOM, Bhubenswar’s placements record has been improving steadily over the years – as seen both in terms of the participating organizations and the range of payment packages that were offered to students. The highest domestic placement package offered to Class of 2014 was a whopping sum of Rs. 7.53 lakhs, which came from Dabur India Limited. The average salary was Rs. 4.2 lakhs.

KSOM, Bhubaneswar’s alumni are already making a mark for themselves in the corporate world. Several of them like Mr. Yuvraj Mehta, Vice-President and Group Head, Reliance Infrastructure, Mr. Amit Sharma, Vice President, SREI Infrastructure are in top leadership positions. Recent graduates like Mr Sourya Dash from batch of 2008 won “Top 25 HR Young Leaders Award.”
